Delicious gingersnap cookies that are thin and crispy. This recipe makes 6-8 dozen (so I've calculated it at 7) and the two key ingredients are the finely ground black pepper and slicing the frozen dough as thinly as possible to give them the crispy texture!     8 oz unsalted butter
    1 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 small eggs or 1 1/2 large eggs
    1/3 cup molasses
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon. salt
    2 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/8 finely ground black pepper
