Chocolate Energy Squares

Ingredients

    1 Cup natural "Creamy peanut butter (can also use almond butter)
    .75 Cup honey
    .75 Cup Brown sugar
    .5 Cup Cocoa
    1.25 Cups Oats (more for denser bars)
    1.5 Cups RIce Krispies (more for lighter bars)
    1 Cup craisins (or other dried fried)
    1 Cup crushed almonds (or peanuts)
    Option: 1 to 2 tbsp organic sesame oil
    *Note, Peanut butter needs to be creamy as you need the moisture to hold the squares together

Directions

In a pot, combine peanut butter, honey, brown sugar and cocoa and cook until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Spray a 9 X 13 inch pan with cooking spray and firmly press batter in pan.
Cut into squares, wrap in plastic and freeze for snacks. Especially good after a long run.
