Baked oven chips (skin)

Ingredients

    Potatoes
    Olive oil
    Black pepper
    Salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 200 (fan assisted).

1. Wash and cut potatoes into chips.
2. Boil potatoes for 7 minutes.
3. Drain water and transfer potatoes into a bowl.
4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over chips.
5. Add olive oil to bowl and stir until coated.
6. Put chips on baking tray and pout in the oven.
7. Cook for 20 minutes, turning half way.

  • we love these...we make these really chunky, then once they have been blanched for a few mins add the oil, then put a sprinkling of chilli powder and flour in a bowl add the chips, put a lid on ad give a really good shake!!! put in hot oven turning occasionally....yummy. - 2/26/10
