Banana Flax Pancakes

Introduction

Yummy and healthy breakfast treat! Yummy and healthy breakfast treat!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1/2 cup white flour
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/3 c ground flax seed or flax meal
    2 T sugar
    2 t baking powder
    1/2 t salt

    2 T canola oil
    1/2 c water
    3/4 c milk
    1/2 t vanilla
    1 (about 3/4 cup) chopped and mushed up ripe banana

Directions

Combine all dry ingredients in a medium size bowl. In small bowl, combine liquid ingredients and add to the dry, mix well. Heat griddle or large skillet to medium heat. Using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake, cook on one side until bubbly, then flip and cook until done.

Makes about 10 pancakes
