Introduction

A yummy crepe-like pancake recipe passed down to me by my Omi (Oma is grandmother in German). They are to be made thin, and the size of a large frying pan. Fry with butter and serve with apple sauce or syrup. A yummy crepe-like pancake recipe passed down to me by my Omi (Oma is grandmother in German). Ingredients

    3 cups skim milk
    2 large eggs
    2 cups of white flour
    3 tbsp butter, unsalted

Directions

Beat eggs and add milk, beating until blended. Slowly add flour and beat until no lumps are present.

Heat a large frying pan on medium-high heat. Melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in the pan and spread a thin amount of batter around the pan (about 1/2 cm thick). Cook until golden brown and flip to do the same for the other side.

Serve with apple sauce, syrup or a topping of your choice.

Makes 6 pancakes.
