Protein Bar's

Introduction

Tired of pay $3 for a bad tasting protein bar. Then just make them at Home. It is cheaper and tast a lot better. Tired of pay $3 for a bad tasting protein bar. Then just make them at Home. It is cheaper and tast a lot better.
Number of Servings: 11

Ingredients

    Natural PB (peanut butter) - 8tspb
    1 minute Oats - 3 Cups
    Protein powder - 8 scoops (your choice of flavor and type)
    Skin Milk - 2 cups
    Jello sugar free pudding - 1 package (your choice of flavor)

Directions

Use a a double boiler (if you don't have one just put water in a cooker and sit a glass bowl on top of it.) to heat the PB then add in 4 scoops of Protein powder and 1 cup of Skin milk mix till it is smooth. Then add in the 1 package of Pudding and the other 4 scoops of Protein and the other Cup of milk. Mix it again till smooth. Then add 3 Cups of 1 minute Oats, Mix this till ever thing is mixed well. Then take this and spread it evenly in a pan or cooking dish with the inside sprayed with a light dusting of Pam. Put in fridge and let harden. Then cut it into bars. The nutrition will change depending on how many bars you cut them in to.

  • I'm not sure about the stats on this recipe... How can there be no fiber with 3 cups of oats? It looks like it has great potential. Thanks for posting. I'll run it through and see what stats I get. - 8/26/08
