Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

Introduction

Pizza Crust Pizza Crust
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2.25 cups Wheat Four
    .75 cups water
    2 teaspoons Honey
    .5 tsp salt
    1 Tbsp yellow corn meal
    Canola cooking spray

Directions

Combine yeast, honey and Warm water and let sit 5 minutes or until bubbly. Add 2 cups flour and salt. Mix with dough hook on a stand mixer for five minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to coat. Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until double in size. Punch dough down and roll out into a 12 inch circle. Sprinkle corn meal on a large pizza pan or cookie sheet and lay rolled out dough on the corn meal. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and place on a stone or pizza pan, add toppings and bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Makes one 12 inch pizza.
