Homemade Mango Peach Topper

Submitted by: COUTLAY

Introduction

I love Jamba Juice's Mango Peach Topper, but their 16 oz version is a whopping 560 calories! I figured I could make my own at home for much fewer calories, and less money. Jamba Juice uses frozen banana in their dish, but I prefer to use frozen mango in mine.

This dish is very sweet and helps when I'm craving dessert.

Ingredients

    1 medium-large sized banana, sliced
    1 cup mango, frozen, cubed
1/2 cup peaches, canned or fresh, sliced
    1/2 cup low-fat (1%) yogurt, plain

Directions

Put half of the banana slices to the side. Put the rest of the banana in a blender with the frozen mango, peaches and yogurt. Blend until it forms a thick paste. This dish is meant for eating with a spoon, not drinking, so you want it very thick. If it's not thick enough for your liking, add ice and blend a little more.

Pour the mixture into a bowl or cup, top with the remaining banana slices, and enjoy!

Note: If you want, you can add granola on top, but that will make a big difference in the nutritional calculations.
