Ingredients

    * Chicken Broth, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    * *Brown Rice, long grain, 1.2 cup
    * Mushrooms, canned, 200 grams
    * Water, tap, 2.5 cup (8 fl oz)

Directions

Heat the chicken broth. If it doesn't have onions, add 1/2 medium onion chopped (not added in this recipe) ; drain the mushrooms and add them to the pot. When boiling, add the brown rice (250 grams). Add 600 ml water (2.5 cups) and boil for 20 min. Check the pot periodically and add more water if needed. Makes 4 servings.
