Ingredients

    16 ounces (2 cups) of Creekside Grains Apple Crisp Dry Mix
    1 stick (8 Tbl) of light butter, cold
    6 large Granny Smith appples (or your favorite baking apple)
    1/3 cup of apple cider (or apple juice)

    Toppings (optional- not included in nutrition info)
    Whipped Topping
    Ice Cream

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 37. Lightly spray a 9x13 dish with non-stick cooking spray.


2. Peel and core the apples. Slice eah apple into 8 pieces and place in the baking dish. Drizzle the apple cider over the apples.


3. In a large bowl pour the dry apple crisp mix. Add in the cold butter in pieces. Cut into the mix with a pastry knife until it is well worked in and the mix become a little crumbly. Spread evenly over the apples.


4. Bake for 30-40 minutes depending on the desired apple consistency. 30 minutes with have a firmer apple while 40 minutes will be more like applesauce.


5. Allow to cool 15 minutes before serving. Serve plain or with wipped topping or ice cream.
