Pineapple rightside rum cake

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Cake
    Pineapple Slices 6 rings
    Cake, yellow, dry mix, pudding-type, 18.5 oz
    1 Box vanilla pudding mix fat/sugar free, dry
    Egg substitute, liquid, 1 cup
    Crushed pineapple 1/2 cup
    Water, tap 1/2 cup
    Dark Rum, 4 fl oz

    Glaze
    Water 1/2 cup
    Dark Rum, 4 fl oz
    Brown Sugar, 1/2 cup, packed
    Splenda 1/4c
    Butter 1/2 cup

Directions

Preheat oven to 325

Grease bunt pan

Arrange Pineapple Slices in the bottom of the bunt pan. Combine cake mix, pudding, egg substitute, crushed pineapple, water and rum.

Bake for one hour, until cake is baked through. Cool. Remove from pan.

Melt butter, sugar, splenda and water together. Bring to a boil, and add rum slowly. Bring back to a boil, then slowly pour warm glaze over the cake.
