Crock Pot Macaroni & Cheese



Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.5 cups skim milk
    12 oz can of skim or low fat evaporated milk
    1/3 cup egg subsitute
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste
    1.5 cups 2% shredded cheddar or colby-jack cheese
    8 ounces whole wheat pasta
    2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Spray a medium sized slow cooker with cooking spray.

Add the milk, evaporated milk, egg subsitute, salt & pepper. Stir with whisk.

Add the cheese and pasta. Stir to coat.

Top with 2 tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Cook on LOW until center is set and the pasta is tender. Depending on your slow cooker, between 3 1/2- 4 hours.

Options- add mixed veggies, cooked ground beef, salsa, etc.
