Beef Puertorrican Turnovers(Empanadillas de carne)

Ingredients

    Homemade Plantillas Empanadillas, 1 pckge (1 pqte de plantillas)
    Ground beef, lean, 1 lbs (1lbs de carne molida magra)
    *Potato, raw, 1 cup diced (1 taza de papas picaditas)
    Sofrito Sauce, 1 tbsp (1 cda de sofrito)
    Tomato Sauce, 1/2 cup (1/2 taza de salsa de tomate)
    1/2 cup water(1/2 taza de agua)
    1 knorr beef bouillion(1 cubito de carne Knorr)
    *Canola Oil, 1 cup(1 taza de aceite)

Directions

1- In a saucepan, put 1 tbsp of oil,beef bouillion, sofrito,sauce and when it start to boil add the meat.add water Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes.Then add the potatoes and let it cook.Put a lid on it and cook til potatoes are tender.Set aside to cool.
(En una cacerola, ponga el aceite , el sofrito, la salsa y el cubito a sofreir.Una vez comience a hervir agregue la carne y el agua.Cocinne por 5 -10 minutos.Agregue las papas y tape y cocine hasta que este blanda.Ponga a un lado a enfriar.)
2-Once cool, take one plantillas and in the middle put 1 or 2 tbsps of the ground meat prepared. And then bend it over and with a fork press both borders together.
(Una vez este fria, coja una plantilla y en el centro coloque 2 cdas de la carne molida preparada.Luego doble sobre hasta llegar al otro extremo.Con un tenedor presione el borde de un lado a otro.)
3-In a frypan, put the rest of the oil to heat.Once it is hot, put the turnover in and fry till light brown.
Take out and serve hot.Serve 20 portions.
(En un sarten ponga a calentar el aceite restante.Una vez caliente, eche una empanadilla y fria hasta que este ligeramente tostada.Saque y sirva caliente.Sirve 20 porciones.)
