i LOVE MAKING THIS SQUASH AND IT'S GOOD IF YOU HAVE A GARDEN AND PUT A LOT OF SQUASH IN THE FREEZER, THIS IS SOMETHING FAST AND EASY AND GOOD FOR YOU, THAT TASTES AS GOOD AS FRESH SQUASH. KIDS REALLY LOVE THIS TOO. SQUASH TASTES LIKE WHAT YOU PUT IN IT. Ingredients

    # *Summer Squash, 10 medium YELLOW CROOK NECK WASHED AND SLICED1/4 IN THICK
    # Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    # Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    # Louis Rich Turkey Bacon, 8 serving
    # Louis Rich Turkey Smoked Sausage, 4 serving
    # *Cheese, Kraft Mexican Style Taco Cheese, 1.5 cup
    ONION POWDER 1 TEASPOON
    GARLIC POWDER 1 TEASPOON
    BLACK PEPPER 1/2 TEASPOON
    SALT LATER IF IT NEEDS IT.

Directions

WASH THE SQUASH AND DO NOT PEEL IT. SET IN BOWL AFTER YOU CUT IT INTO SLICES ABOUT 1/4 INCHES. IN A NON STICK POT COOK BACON AND SAUSAGE. LEAVE VERY LITTLE OIL IN POT AND TAKE OUT THE MEAT SET ASIDE. PUT IN THE CHOPPED ONIONS AND BELL PEPPERS. STIR FRY UNTIL TENDERED. NOW PUT IN THE SQUASH. ADD THE ONION AND GARLIC POWDER AND THE BLACK PEPPER.STIR FRY TILL MOST IS TENDERED. PUT IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER. JUST ENOUGH TO COVER THE SQUASH. PUT IN THE MEATS. BOIL TILL ALL WATER IS OUT. THE SQUASH SHOULD BE COOKED DOWN AT THIS POINT. ADD THE CHEESE AND STIR IT IN. SERVE WHILE HOT. WARMS UP GOOD IN THE MICOWAVE NEXT DAY. ENJOY!!!
