Krista's Turkey meatloaf

Introduction

I was looking for a turkey meatloaf recipe and couldn't find one that I liked so I made this one. It's ground turkey so that is why I used so much seasoning to give it more flavor. I loved it...I'm sure you could use any kind of veggies you have on hand and this would be delish I was looking for a turkey meatloaf recipe and couldn't find one that I liked so I made this one. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pound ground turkey
    1/4 cup broccoli
    1/4 cup cauliflower
    1/4 cup carots
    1 staulk of celery
    2 garlic cloves
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
    2 tbsp. of mesquite grill seasoning
    1 tbsp of bbq sauce


Directions

1. put cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, celery, and garlic in a blender and blend into a paste
2. mix paste with grill seasoning and red pepper flakes.
3. Add in ground turkey mix
4. shape into meatloaf rub bbq sauce on top
5. Bake at 350 for about 30 min
makes about four servings

  • I made this a few nights ago,I left out the cauliflower just b/cause I didnt have any on hand ,my kids had no complaints and they where gone when I went back in the kitchen,made individual portions via muffin tins made a second batch to freeze for quick n easy lunch I ate one for lunch today ! THANX - 2/15/11

  • This was suprisingly good. I added diced onion, green pepper, 1 egg and 1/2 cup oatmeal. It's so moist - 8/13/09
