Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake (smoothie)Submitted by: NATURALSOAPGIRL
IntroductionYummy and easy and full of protein. A great breakfast or after-workout snack. Yummy and easy and full of protein. A great breakfast or after-workout snack.
*1 medium banana (cut into inch thick slices and frozen the night before)
*1 cup 2% milk
*3/4 scoop of protein powder (I used Designer Whey Natural)
*1 1/2 Tbsp. natural peanut butter
Possible adjustments - If you use a full scoop of protein powder you can add 25 calories or so - check your powder for proper nutrition info. If the shake is too thick add an extra splash of milk. If you want to start with 1 Tbsp of peanut butter you may not need to add the other half Tbsp - if you only use 1 Tbsp you can take off 50 calories. If you did not freeze bananas ahead of time you can make this just by adding about 1/2 cup of ice into the bottom with the milk. Enjoy!
