Sourdough Pancakes ~ Suzy's

Ingredients

    * 1-egg
    * 2-tablespoons sugar
    * 1/2-teaspoon salt
    * 1-teaspoons baking soda
    * 2-cups sourdough starter
    * 1-tsp vanilla

Directions

THE NIGHT BEFORE, ADD 2-CUPS FLOUR AND 2-CUPS MILK TO STARTER AND COVER IN A WARM PLACE. In the morning remove 1-cup from starter and put back in your fridge.

(1) In a large mixing bowl beat together the egg, butter and vanilla with the starter.
(2) In a separate bowl sift together the dry ingredients.
(3) Add the dry ingredients to the starter mixture and mix just until moistened.
(4) Let sit for about 5-minutes, it will get all frothy and bubbly and double in size.
(5) Spoon 1/4-cup portions onto hot griddle and cook until done.
