At the store, I accidentally bought yellow split peas (yes, yellow) thinking they were lentils. When I realized they were peas, I figured I'd try out a soup with them. It turned out really well. Ingredients

~1.55 lbs of Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breast, cut up into bitesize pieces
3 Cups Yellow Split Peas
8 Cups Chicken Broth
2.5 large carrots cut up
4 Cups Fresh Spinach
6 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
Directions
Toss everything into the crockpot and cook until the peas are super mushy (~10 hours on low). Add water as needed to keep the moisture level appropriate.
