Red Roaster Chicken

Introduction

I like a little bite without too heavy a kick. Mission accomplished. I like a little bite without too heavy a kick. Mission accomplished.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 roasting chicken (4-5 pound), giblets removed
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    dash cayenne
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Place chicken, breast side up, in baking pan (on a rack is great but not mandatory). Add some water to bottom of pan. Sprinkle spices over chicken and drizzle olive oil on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350ËšF for 2 hours. (My oven currently won't go higher than 350. You're welcome to adjust as needed)
A 4 1/2 to 5 lb. bird makes about 10 servings for us.
