Large yellow onion Beef Broth Water Bay Leaf Gruyere Cheese Butter French Baguette
Melt butter saute onion until soft and almost brown. Simmer for 20 min. Add broth, water bay leaf and pepper. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 min. Serve in bowl add slice of toasted bread and cover with slice of Gruyere cheese and melt cheese on top.
