Fast, Fresh and Simple Alfredo Sauce

Introduction

So bad for you, but so yummy! It might be high in calories and fat, but I justify it by it's high protein content! So bad for you, but so yummy! It might be high in calories and fat, but I justify it by it's high protein content!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/4 c heavy cream
    2 Tbl butter
    2 garlic cloves
    1/2 c fresh parmesan cheese
    3 fresh parsley sprigs
    1 tsp pepper

Directions

Place all the ingredients, in the order listed, into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

Transfer to a microwave safe bowl, cover loosely and microwave 1-2 minutes or until hot. Return to blender/food processor and process on pulse 3-4 times.

NOTE: Processing hot liquids in a blender/food processor, with a cover, causes strong pressure to build up. The pressure can become so severe that the liquid will explode and is likely to cause burns. To prevent pressure build up, remove the middle of the blender and cover with a hand towel.
