Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

Introduction

Slightly spicy creamy Tex-Mex style chicken. Slightly spicy creamy Tex-Mex style chicken.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast
    2 C. Salsa (any kind you like)
    0.25 cup Hot Chili Peppers, minced
    1.5 C (or 1 can) black beans, drained and rinsed
    2 T. Garlic powder
    2 T. Onion powder
    3/4 of a block of low fat cream cheese, cubed

Directions

Combine chicken, salsa, hot peppers, black beans, garlic powder, & onion powder in a crock pot, cover and cook high 3-4 hours or low 5-6 hours. Add cream cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Once melted, stir to combine. Serve with tortillas and green salad or over rice.
