Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

    1 pound peeled, large raw shrimp
    1 (12 oz) package whole grain linguine
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    3 garlic cloves finely chopped
    1 tsp salt-free Italian-herb seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp and 1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley.

Directions

1. Peel and devein shrimp.
2. Prepare pasta according to directions on box.
3. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat: add onion and garlic, and saute 3-5 minutes or until tender. Stir in Italian-herb seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Reduce heat to medium. Add shrimp, and cook, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Stir in lemon juice. Toss shrimp mixture with pasta, and parsley. Serve immediately.
5. After dishing up shrimp scampi sprinkle with cheese.
