A delectable salad with a sweet and savory spin. A delectable salad with a sweet and savory spin.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 heads red leaf lettuce
    4 medium Granny Smith Apples
    4 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
    4 oz. blue cheese (Roquefort or other similar)
    1 cup cashew pieces

Directions

Wash and drain the lettuce, chop with a knife or shred by hand.
Apples should be chopped.
Shred the swiss and crumble the blue cheese.
Top the lettuce with the apples, cheeses and cashews.
Serve with sweet and tangy dressing (recipe on sparkpeople as well) or any other dressing you like.
