Tom's Crockpot Chili

Submitted by: TOMMYBR

Introduction

This was made to use up some ground beef in the fridge. Lower the fat by using ground turkey instead. I also don't add salt, and use no salt added canned beans and such as much as I can. Substitute to your taste. This was made to use up some ground beef in the fridge. Lower the fat by using ground turkey instead. Directions

The serving size of seven was a calculation, based on the amount of beef and canned goods. Meat would work out at about 4 oz./serving. 2 cans of the beans would be seven servings, etc.
Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain.
Put in crock pot with other ingredients on LOW for about 8 - 9 hours. Enjoy
