Poppyseed Chicken

Introduction

A rich chicken casserole using boiled chicken or leftover chicken or turkey works too. A rich chicken casserole using boiled chicken or leftover chicken or turkey works too.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    4 chicken breast or 1 whole chicken, boiled and cut into bite size pieces
    2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
    1 pint sour cream
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 cellophane pkg. Ritz Crackers, crushed (35 crackers)
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. poppy seeds

Directions

Arrange chicken in bottom of 9x13 pan. Mix together soup, sour cream and onion. Pour over meat. Melt butter and mix with crushed crackers and poppy seeds. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve over hot rice. Noodles would work too. Serves 12.
