Taco Salad

Introduction

A low carb healthy Taco salad. A low carb healthy Taco salad.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    4 oz ground Turkey
    10 oz Iceberg lettuce
    1 lettuce leaf
    7 tortilla chips
    3 oz diced tomato
    1/4 cup of red onion
    1/8 cup of grated cheese
    2 tsp sour cream
    dash of black pepper
    2 oz of carrots
    1 tsp chili powder
    3 tsp hot sauce (taco sauce)

Directions

Brown ground turkey, add black pepper, chili powder, and hot sauce to the meat.

Cut a lettuce leaf to use as a bowl and dice all the vegetables: lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and red onions to create a salad.

Add the salad in the lettuce leaf, add the meat, grated cheese, tortilla chips and top with sour cream.

This makes 1 servings of taco salad.

* If the salad is too dry for you add salad dressing, salsa, or more sour cream. Enjoy :)
