Chicken Pad Thai

Ingredients

    .Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    Peanut Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 24 ounces (remove)
    Fish Sauce, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Ramen Noodles, chicken flavor, 2 container, individual (remove)
    Lime Juice, 1.50 fl oz (remove)
    Garlic, 1 clove (remove)
    Romaine Lettuce (salad), 1 cup, shredded (remove)
    Onions, raw, 0.50 cup, chopped (remove)
    Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp (remove)
    Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 2 tsp (remove)

Directions

cook noodles and set aside. heat oil in pan, add garlic and onions, cook until soft, cut chicken into pieces and add to pan, cook through, add eggs and scramble in until cooked. Mix fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, and red pepper in a bowl, then add to pan along with noodles. mix everything together and serve.

  • I would not even waste my time to make this recipe simply because it calls for Ramen Noodles vs Rice Noodles, and has zero mention of Fish Sauce which any self respecting Thai dish would have. Ff these two very basic things are wrong the dish will come out as something very different from Pad Thai. - 12/19/09

    actually it does call for fish sauce...and I'm sure rice noodles would be better, but I had ramen noodles on hand so that is what I used
