2 Tbs. Bacon Fat or EVOO
2 large onions, diced
2 Tbs. flour
1/2 tesp. sugar
1/2 tesp. salt
1 Tbs Curry powder, more if desired
1 bay leaf
2 c. Consomme/ bf or ck broth
salt & pepper as desired/needed, I omit
3-4 c. diced lamb
Melt bacon fat, add and cook until golden the onions. Stir in flour and add sugar, salt, curry powder and bay leaf. Pour in consomme/broth and cook until thickened, Add lamb.
Add salt & pepper as desired.
