Ingredients

    squash, cheese, onions

Directions

Stew sliced squash for 5-10 minutes. Pour stewed squash into a colander coovered in a clean rag and allow water and juices to drain by mashing with a spoon. In the meantime, saute sliced onion in butter for 5 minutes. Remove from pan. In a large bowl combine onion/butter mixture, squash, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder and sharp cheddar cheese. Pour mixture into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle top with panko bread crumbs. Bake for 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Makes 6 servings.
