Flax Crackers

Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 tablespoons ground flax meal
    1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon seasoning (I like Old Bay)
    2 Tablespoons (ish) water

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Allow to sit for 1-2 minutes to hydrate the flax.
Spread the flax into a rough 5x8" rectangle on a piece of parchment paper (wax paper will leave a waxy taste). Microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Optionally, flip it to crisp the other side and microwave another 20 seconds. Break into pieces and chow down with whatever dip desired.

Recipe can be altered with flavored liquids (pickle liquid, for example) or differently seasonings to create crackers of different tastes.

Serves 1.
