Sausage Bolognase

Introduction

Use sausage meat instead of mince Use sausage meat instead of mince
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 Onion, Chopped
    1 Garlic Clove, Crushed
    1 Pack of Sausages, Peeled
    1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
    2 OXO Cubes (I use 1 chicken and 1 veg, but whatever you have in will do!) Made up to 1/2 a pint in a single jug.
    1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
    Splash of Worchester Sauce
    Mixed Herbs

Directions

Make as you would a beef bolognase sauce, just add the sausage meat where you would usually add the mince:

Heat up a little oil
Fry the onion and garlic until the onion is tender
Add the sausage meat, cook until all meat is cooked
Tip in the tin of tomatoes, oxo cubes and add the tomato puree, worchester sauce and herbs and any other seasoning you like.
Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated away, or until it is the consistency you like it to be!
Mean while, cook the pasta, and serve hot!
