Introduction

I got this recipe off of allrecipes.com, I just plugged it in here so I wouldn't have to keep putting in the ingredients. It's really good and makes your house smell wonderful! Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Old Bay Seasoning
    1-2 Tbsp salt
    3 quarts water
    12 oz. can beer (optional)
    4-5 medium red potatoes, quartered
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
14 oz. Hillshire Farm Turkey Sausage, cut into 2 inch lengths
3 ears corn cut in half or 12 niblets
2 lbs. shrimp, raw in shells, thaw if frozen (I used easy peel shrimp, they're already deveined and much easier)

Directions

1. In an 8-quart pot, bring Old Bay, salt, water and beer to a boil. Add potatoes and onions; cook over high heat for 8 minutes.

2. Add smoked sausage to potatoes and onions; continue to cook on high for 5 minutes. Add corn to pot; continue to boil for 7 minutes. Add shrimp in shells, cook for 3 minutes.

3. Drain cooking liquid. Pour contents of pot into several large bowls, shallow pails or mound on a paper-covered picnic table. Sprinkle with additional Old Bay if desired.

You could add more seafood to this and reduce the amount of corn or potatoes. It makes 6 large portions.

Nutrition information includes 12 oz. can of beer
