2 lbs ground meat*
.5 c chopped onion
4 oz can diced green chiles
2 tsp chili powder
.5 tsp garlic powder
8 oz tomato sauce
.5c sour cream
8 oz shredded light cheddar cheese**
brown meat with onions, green chiles, garlic, chili powder & tomato sauce.
simmer ~10 minutes then transfer to 8x8 pan.
combine egg, sour cream & cheese.
spread over top of meat mixture.
bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
let cool ~10 minutes before serving.
*calories based on 2 lb 96% lean ground beef
**can also use jack, pepper jack or a blend
