Baked Mac & Cheese Casserole

Introduction

You can make this even healthier by using 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese. I use skim milk and light butter to prepare the Macaroni & cheese dinner. You can make this even healthier by using 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese. I use skim milk and light butter to prepare the Macaroni & cheese dinner.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 box Macaroni and Cheese dinner
    1/2 cup Light Sour Cream
    1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    10 Wheat Ritz Crackers, crushed
    1 Tbsp butter, melted


Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Prepare Macaroni & Cheese dinner as directed on package. Stir in 1/2 cup shredded cheddar, sour cream and cayenne.

Press mixture into greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish; sprinkle with remaining cheddar. Mix crackers and butter together, crumble on top.

Bake 20 min. Let stand 5 min. before serving.
