Ingredients

    * 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
    * 1/2 cup soy flour
    * 1/3 cup parmesean cheese (powder)
    * 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder (less if too strong for taste)
    * 1/2 tsp salt
    * 1/2 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients together until well blended.

For bread: Spoon onto sheet pan and even out with roller. Make edges even by pushing them in so they don't burn more than the rest of the bread.

For crackers: In your hand, roll into 1 in balls and then flatten into a circle and place on sheet pan. The flatter you make them the crunchier they will be!! :)

Bake in oven 15 -25 min depending on desired consistency.

*********REMEMBER: BE CREATIVE!! :)************

Make them large for circular "cracker" sandwiches or make them small for a quick pick me up.

Top them with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chicken, natural pepperoni's and olives, etc.

Try making them without garlic and cheese to top with sweeter condiments or nut butters.

GOOD LUCK!! :)

  • I just made these for my mom. You call them garlic parmesian, but there's no parmesian in the recipe. You don't have units of measurment for the garlic powder, and no cook time. I added parmesian, used 2tbsp of garlic and baked for 25mins with fresh mozza cheese on top and mom said they were great. - 7/10/09

    I'm so sorry!! I can't believe I forgot to put add the parmesean to the ingredient list AND forgot to put tsp after the garlic powder. I must have been inputting the recipe in the middle of the night lol. Thanks for the comment and glad you and your mom enjoyed them!! :)
