Pumpkin Pasta Sauce

    2 c. canned pumpkin
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan
    10 fresh sage leaves, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, chopped
    1/2 large onion, chopped
    1 T olive oil
    3/4 c. chicken broth
    1 t. black pepper


Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and onion to olive oil and allow to brown (about 2 minutes). Add chopped sage leaves and cook another 2 minutes. Add cooked pumpkin puree and stir well. Add broth to thin. Season with salt & pepper if desired. Add pasta to sauce and stir well to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
