Broccoli & Spaghetti

Introduction

This can be a main or side dish. Doctor it up or down. I use it a lot if I'm low on my calories and/or carbs for the day. Also a good source of folate. Whole grain, vegetables, fiber. What more can you ask for. This can be a main or side dish. Doctor it up or down. I use it a lot if I'm low on my calories and/or carbs for the day. Also a good source of folate. Ingredients

    2 oz, Ronzoni Whole Wheat Spaghetti
    1 c, cooked broccoli
    1T Country Crock Reg. Margarine

Directions

--Measure and cook pasta according to package directions.
--While spaghetti is cooking, prepare broccoli according to package directions.
--When spaghetti is done, place in a bowl. Add cooked broccoli and margarine.
--If you like it moister, just add a little of the pasta water.
--Season with whatever you like.

Note: I use broccoli because I always have it on hand, but any vegetables will work. Also you can add whatever meat you have cooked in the fridge. Garnish with cheese if you desire. Just don't forget to add in the extra calories if you add meat and/or cheese
