Ingredients

    Ramen noodles, flavor of choice
    Coleslaw, 1 bag of mix
    Sesame seeds, 1 tsp
    sesame oil, 1 tbsp
    Canola Oil, 1/4 cup
    Rice wine vinegar, 1 tbsp
    White Vinegar, 1/4 cup
14 almonds, chopped (about 2 tbsp)
    Red onion, 4 tbsp chopped
    sugar, 2 tbsp
    1 tsp Soy Sauce

Directions

Crush ramen and put noodles in bowl, save flavor packet.
Layer coleslaw, onion, chopped/slivered almonds and sesame seeds in bowl.
In small bowl whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and flavor packet.
Pour dressing over the salad and let marinate. You can toss it and serve within a few minutes, but it tastes better if you let it soak for about 24 hours before tossing.

  • I used beef ramen and substituted sunflower seeds for the almonds, green onions for red, and splenda for sugar. Overall it turned out good.... but wondering if a different ramen flavor would turn out better. - 9/13/11
