Whole Wheat Tortillas

Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    -2 c white flour
    -1.5 c whole wheat flour
    -2 teas baking powder
    -1.5 teas salt
    -3 Tbsp canola oil (4 tastes better and makes them thinner, but I was trying to cut down on fat)
    -1.25 c water

Directions

Mix the dry ingredients. Add the oil and water. Mix with a wooden spoon, then knead for a few minutes. Let the dough sit for 10 mins back in the bowl.

Pull out a small chunk, a little bigger than a golfball. Heat a skillet on medium heat and add ~1 teas canola oil. Roll out the dough flat and thin, and in a circular shape. Cook about 30 secs, then flip and cook another 30 seconds. While it is cooking, prepare the next dough piece. Repeat.
