"Jimmy Carter" AKA Power Packin' Smoothie!

Submitted by: BTVMADS

Introduction

This breakfast treat is like having dessert first (I adapted a killer milkshake recipe), but unlike a sugary drink, this has the right fuel to keep you going until lunch! Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 small banana, cut into 1-inch pieces (if you have time to freeze them, even better!)
1/2 cup skim or soy milk
1/2 cup vanilla low- or no-fat yogurt
    1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
    1 tsp. cocoa powder
    2 ice cubes, optional

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender, blend on high setting until smooth. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, omit the ice. For a chillier, more "milkshakey" texture, include the ice cubes and pre-freeze your banana chunks.

Makes one BIG smoothie!
