1 can organic red kidney beans
1 can organic white beans
1 can organic diced tomatoes
1/4 cup TVP (textured vegetable protein)
2 T nutritional yeast
1/4 cup onion, diced
1 T cumin
1 T garlic powder
1 t. cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients, including onion, to a large pot, stir to combine, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Makes 8 servings, about a cup each.
