Spinach Meatloaf

Introduction

This meatloaf is soooo good!!! It has lots of spinach in it so its like your meat and vegetables all in one. It is sooo much lower in fat than regular meatloaf. Comfort food you will not regret having!!! This meatloaf is soooo good!!! It has lots of spinach in it so its like your meat and vegetables all in one. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb of Ground Beed
    1 lb of Ground Turkey
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    Barbeque Sauce - to go on top
    Frozen Spinach
    Plain Old Fashioned Oatmeal
    3 Cloves of Garlic - minced
    Half a Small Onion - diced

Directions

Preheat over to 350 Degrees. Blend the Ground Beef and Ground Turkey in a large bowl. Mince the Garlic and Dice the Onion and add to the meat. Add 1 cup of Old Fashioned oats to the mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add one large egg. Drain all the liquid from the defrosted frozen spinach and add the entire package. Mix it all together really well. Form the mixture into a loaf and add the barbeque sauce on top. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 6 equal portions. Enjoy!
