Raw Apple Cookies



Introduction

These cookies are a snap to prepare. It takes me all of 10-15 minutes to prep the ingredients, I put them in the dehydrator and walk away. And when they are ready and I take my first bite, I can’t believe that they are so healthy!
These cookies are a snap to prepare. It takes me all of 10-15 minutes to prep the ingredients, I put them in the dehydrator and walk away. And when they are ready and I take my first bite, I can’t believe that they are so healthy!

Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    5 organic apples, cored and peeled
    3/4 c agave nectar
    1 3/4 c soaked almonds, ground in food processor
    1 1/2 c raisins
    1/4 c cinnamon

Directions

Slice half on the apples in a food processor with the slicing disk. Shred the other half. Mix all ingredients together. Press the mix into 18 flat, round cookies and place them on the dehydrator sheets (should be 2 sheets, each with 3 rows of 3 cookies). Dehydrate at 105°F for about 24 hours. Cookies should be chewy, not dry.
