Ingredients



    * Shortening, 1 cup
    * Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
    * Egg, fresh, 2 large
    * *Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched, 2.75 cup
    * Cream Of Tartar, 2 tsp
    * Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    * Salt, .5 tsp

    * Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp
    * Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp

Directions

Mix together shortening, sugar, and eggs. sift and stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Chill dough for 2 hours or more. Roll balls into the size of small walnuts. Roll in the sugar and cinnamon mixture place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned but soft. Bake @ 400 for 8-10min makes 5 dozen
