One of our family favorites for breakfast cake

*to make healthier replace half the butter with 1/2 cup applesauce and use a nonfat or lower fat sour cream.

Ingredients



    * *Margarine, soft, 1 cup (remove)
    * Granulated Sugar, 1 cup (remove)
    * Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)
    * Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    * Sour Cream, 1 cup (remove)
    * *Organic All-Purpose White Flour, 2 cup (remove)
    * Baking Soda, 1 tsp (remove)
    * Baking Powder, 1 tsp (remove)
    * Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    Topping: Mix with fork and set aside
    * Brown Sugar, .33 cup, packed (remove)
    * Granulated Sugar, .25 cup (remove)
    * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp (remove)
    * Pecans, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Icing
    * Powdered Sugar, 1 cup, unsifted (remove)
    * Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)
    * Milk, nonfat, .25 cup (remove)

Directions

Cream butter sugars and vanilla until well mixed. Add eggs one at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients 1/3 at a time into the creamed batter. When well mixed add sour cream and mix gently.
In 9X13 pan, spread half of batter then half of topping (brown sugar, sugar, Cinnamon, and pecans). then rest of the batter and rest of topping. Bake for 35 min at 350 while still warm drizzle the icing. ( mix powdered sugar and vanilla and add milk until it reaches an icing Consistency. Let rest or eat hot
