Brownies (Betty Crocker recipe)

Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/3 cup shortening
    1 cup sugar (I used slightly less)
    2 squares unsweetened chocolate (I used Baker's)
    3/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    2 eggs (I used medium)
    1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Melt shortening and chocolate in a sauce pan. Cool. Add sugar, then eggs, then flour, vanilla and baking powder.

Bake 20-30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
