Lower Cal Meatloaf

Introduction

This is a yummy way to make a "lower" cal meatloaf. You can also mix in some finely chopped fresh veggies (ie celery, carrots, bell peppers) to increase nutritional content. Bonus: it sneaks in veggies to trick the kiddos. This is a yummy way to make a "lower" cal meatloaf. You can also mix in some finely chopped fresh veggies (ie celery, carrots, bell peppers) to increase nutritional content. Bonus: it sneaks in veggies to trick the kiddos.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1 lb mild italian sausage
    2 large eggs
    1 cup breadcrumbs
    1 meatloaf seasoning packet
    6 Tbsp Ketchup

    You can also mix in finely chopped veggies and/or substitute mild sausage for medium if you want to spice it up abit.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degress. Mix together ground turkey, eggs, breadcrumbs, and italian sausage. Form meatblend into a loaf and pan. Coat with ketchup. Bake for approx 1 hour. Yields approx 10 servings at 3 oz each.
