This is my first time ever making fajitas. The marinade for the chicken is phenomenal. I used two limes instead of one, so there was enough marinade for all three breasts to soak. I let them marinate for three hours. The chicken, peppers and onions had enough flavor, I didn't NEED other toppings. :) - 2/3/10

These were awesome! Restaurant quality! I added 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 1/2 tsp. oregano to the marinade. I marinated the vegetables in a seperate bag. Used ff sour cream, colby jack cheese (fine shred), and salsa as toppings. - 10/8/08

As a former Weight Watcher Member you can cut the fat even more in this recipe by using non-stick spray for the chicken and a non-stick skillet. - 10/7/07

Haven't made it, but guessing that the nutrition info excludes all toppings. what about the oil that is not even listed?

Marinade looks really good, though! - 8/12/11

  • Love this recipe -- very similar to one I clipped from a WW booklet two or three years ago. More cumin or some fajita seasoning (Penzey's is my favorite). No salt. 1 cup onions cooked with the peppers until soft and slightly caramelized. Use whole grain corn tortillas if you can find them. - 7/7/13

  • This is a nice standard recipe. I'll probably let the DH grill the chicken along with a marinated flank steak. - 1/30/11

  • Left the chicken breasts whole and grilled them on the grill. Then I cut them into strips. I cooked the peppers and onions in a pan and added the chicken after they were cooked. Yummy! Love the marinade. - 5/27/09

  • This is great! The only thing I do different is add more chopped cilantro. I also grill the chicken on a george foreman then slice instead of sauteeing with oil. This has become a staple recipe for me and my boyfriend! - 5/16/08

  • I agree with how good this was. We jazzed up the spices as well. 16.5g fat is misleading. Made with same ingredients and calculated for 6 servings, not 8, it was only 9g fat. Add some reduced fat sour cream and low fat cheddar and it was only 10.2g fat per serving with 6 servings. Excellent. - 10/21/07

  • My whole family loves this recipe. I did up the seasonings quite a bit, because 1/2 tsp of each just didn't cut it for our tastes. I also added one sliced red onion. Tastes great cold over salad the next day! - 9/5/07
