Pistachio Bark - South Beach

Introduction

I don't know how the book got the nutritional info it got, so I had to put this one in. I only have chocolate chips on hand so maybe the bars make a difference...? Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    12 squares semisweet chocolate (or 12 oz. chocolate chips)
    1 cup pistachio nuts, shelled and toasted

Directions

Microwave the chocolate in a microwaveable bowl on high for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Stir until completely melted. Stir the nuts into the chocolate.

Spoon the chocolate and nut mixture onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm. Break into bite-size pieces.

Makes 1 pound or 12 servings (approx 1 oz. each)
